Who Are We?

The PBPCS is a chapter of the International Palm Society dedicated to the preservation and promotion of palms and cycads.

Why Join Us?

We hold meetings monthly at Mounts Botanical Garden on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30 PM featuring a wide range of topics and speakers. All aspects of palm and cycad horticulture are discussed as well as travel logs to exotic destinations, and talks from some of the best palm and cycad people in the world. There are also monthly palm auctions and often plant and seed giveaways.

• Get our journal, Palm & Cycad Times, 6 times a year. This is the best way to stay up to date on all the palm news and events.
  
• Meet fellow enthusiasts.
  
• Field trips to public and private gardens, nurseries and research facilities.
  
• Help to promote palms and cycads in South Florida as well as fund research.
